Composed of a seasonal rotation of coffees sourced from around the globe that are grown with sustainable agricultural practices and an organic certification, our Organic Italian Roast is a celebration of the savoury side of the flavour spectrum. Roasted boldly, but never burnt, the Italian Roast showcases the toasty, savoury notes of darker roasting, while still preserving the natural characteristics of the coffees. Creamy, rich and malty flavours of chocolate and caramel dominate the cup. A smooth, bold, and lingering finish provide a classic bold roast profile. The backbone of our coffee menu is this Northern Italian Style Espresso, which we proudly serve at every Artigiano cafe. Drawing inspiration from Italian coffee tradition, we source coffees from the Americas, South Asia and East Africa to craft this syrupy sweet espresso with a classic profile of cocoa, and roasted nuts. While the Private Reserve brews an exceptional espresso, the subtle nuances and complexity of the blend can be enjoyed brewed as a filter coffee as well. This classic European-style dark roast is composed of Colombian, Indonesian, and Guatemalan coffees, brewing with low acidity but a deep, molasses-like sweetness and velvety body. Aromas of green apple and cinnamon mellow into flavour notes of nougat, dark chocolate, and blackberry.
